The Secret of Karma: Can you shape your own destiny? | In Quest of Truth – clips

Babaji explains the deeper meaning of karma and why we must each take responsibility for the tendencies we create within our own mind.

Rather than seeing God as a personality who has written the story of our lives, Babaji teaches that through our thinking, imagination and actions we continually shape our own karma and destiny. When the mind becomes negative, it can create further suffering; when we learn to keep the mind positive and peaceful, we begin to shape a positive destiny for ourselves.

Babaji explains how acceptance, meditation, worship and other forms of spiritual sadhana can help us rise above disappointment and painful circumstances, overcome the effects of karma and ultimately stop acquiring new karma.

“You are the best friend of yourself. Rise above that level.”
