Babaji sings ‘Dhimika Dhimika Dhim’
Babaji sings the bhajan Dhimika Dhimika Dhim, recorded in 2001 at a program given by Babaji at Finesse Language school in Dehradun.
Swamiji and Babaji’s mission is to guide humanity toward the true and lasting peace through the practice of meditation. Beyond all distinctions, they offer the path of Dhyana Yoga, encouraging each seeker to turn within and realise the true Self.

At the completion of His Tapas, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati appeared before Swamiji and revealed the purpose of His life’s mission:
With this divine command, Swamiji stepped forth to serve humanity—offering the sacred practice of Jangama Dhyana freely and without distinction, beyond all barriers of caste, religion, or belief.
Thus, since 1962, when Swamiji emerged from His twelve years of arduous Tapas, this mission has continued uninterrupted—guiding seekers everywhere towards inner peace through the simple and direct practice of meditation.
Carrying forward this very mission of His Guru, Shri Babaji has continued to share the same path across the world—offering Darshan, initiation into meditation (Diksha), and Satsangs with complete openness, supported only by voluntary contributions.

The Mission follows the ancient tradition of Guru Dakshina (offering to the Guru). In this timeless system, the Guru imparts knowledge, wisdom, and the practical means to realise the highest spiritual Truth freely—without charge and without any form of transaction.
There is no notion of a student as a client, nor is the teaching measured or limited by any form of payment. Instead, whatever is offered is given voluntarily, according to one’s capacity and sincerity, as an expression of gratitude—supporting the Guru’s physical needs and the continuation of the mission.
The true Guru is always ready to impart knowledge and wisdom without reservation. The only expectation from the student is sincerity, effort, and faith—for it is through these that the real learning can take place.
As Babaji Himself says:

Swamiji often said that the purpose of His Mission was to reduce the tension in the minds of people. He observed that humanity was reaching a point where mental strain had become dangerously intense, and that only by turning within through the practice of Dhyana could true relief be found.
For this reason, He never approached His work as a business. On one occasion, during an interview in the United States, the interviewer expressed surprise that Swamiji’s programmes and initiations were offered free of charge. He then asked whether those who charged large sums for spiritual teachings were on the right path.
Swamiji replied simply,
He further explained that many believe money can bring them closer to the Truth, as though material offerings could substitute for inner effort. But, as He clarified:

As Shri Swamiji Himself once said, when some devotees from the West suggested that He should charge for Dhyana Diksha (initiation into meditation), believing that people would value it more:
In this same spirit, the Mission continues to offer the teachings freely, without charge and without any business motive. At the same time, voluntary contributions are received with deep gratitude, as they provide the practical support needed for the Ashrams, the activities of the Mission, and the institutions established to preserve and share this invaluable knowledge.
Such offerings help maintain the places of spiritual practice, support the organisation of programmes, retreats, Satsangs, and initiations, and enable the teachings to be made available to sincere seekers. In this way, each contribution becomes part of the continuing service of the Guru’s mission, helping the sacred path of Dhyana Yoga to reach more and more people, for the peace, upliftment, and welfare of all.
