A precious opportunity to retreat from your everyday routines and deepen your meditation practice in the presence of a Self-Realised Yogi.
Retreat Overview
The 14-day schedule includes:
- Day 1: Arrival
- Day 2: Rest day and briefing (meditation sessions are optional)
- Days 3-13: 11 days of full daily retreat schedule with Babaji (a silent atmosphere is maintained during these 11 days)
- Day 14: Rest/final day activities (meditation sessions are optional)
- Day 15: Departure

Accommodation
- All rooms provided will be inside the Ashram premises, up to three people sharing each room. Â Contact us if you have any special requests.
- All rooms have an attached bathroom with hot water.
Meals
- Three traditional South Indian vegetarian meals are provided (breakfast will also include western options).
- Unfortunately, we aren’t able to provide for special dietry requirements.
- Filtered drinking water is provided.
- A tea table (including tea bags, instant coffee, milk powder and biscuits) is permanently set up in the dining hall for your individual use anytime.
Retreat Contribution
- As in the lineage of the great spiritual masters, spiritual teachings are imparted free of cost, however a contribution is required to cover the expenses of the retreat.
- All participants are required to make a retreat contribution of 30,000 Indian rupees (approximately USD360) to cover our expenses.
- These expenses will go directly to the catering services, bedding supplies and hire, cleaning services, running costs including building maintenance, utility bills, extra staff wages and general improvements to the Ashram.
- Further details about how to pay will be provided once your application has been approved.

- Please don’t make travel arrangements before your application is accepted.
- If your application is accepted, you will need to provide us with your travel arrangements as confirmation you will attend the retreat.

Application Criteria
- This retreat is only for serious meditators who want to deepen their practice. Â If you would simply like to visit Babaji, please contact the Ashram separately to arrange this.
- You should have a flexible attitude and a good general state of health to support your practice.
- It is essential to read, understand and accept the Retreat and Health Policies.
